My name is Silvia (aka Cuorofilla) and I am many things… they are the fruit of my constant research and curiosity that have accompanied me over time and continue to do so.
I express the best of myself in nature and with animals, where I am able to translate their ancient and ancestral language with my art.
As long as I can remember, I've always collected objects from nature: shells, sticks, pine cones, sand, soil, and leaves that I still find between the pages of books.
Lately, I've rediscovered the connection I'd forgotten about due to all the busy schedules that overwhelm us, drowning out our true essence and presence.
I allowed Ecoprint (botanical printing) to create this essential bridge to rediscover the wonder, the amazement, and the care for my soul and make it finally feel at home.
Working with leaves, flowers, roots, and the unique vibration of natural, wild colors, along with the precious participation of water, creates a unique collaboration and alchemy.
The results aren't always as expected, but the magic of the element in contact with strictly natural fabrics tells us that every "hypothetical" error should be considered an instructive part of the process and as such should be welcomed, respected, and honored, because it brings new insights and experiments.
I love seeing how the energy of plants is imprinted on fabric.
Each piece is unique, as unique as the person who wears it.
Ecoprinting has taught me to slow down, to follow the cycle of the seasons, to be more centered and
to let myself be carried away by serendipity!
Cuorofilla tells stories of plants, roots, water, earth, lymph, and LIFE.
